May 14, 2026 | 5:30 to 8:30 PM

Castaway, 1900 NW 18th Ave, Portland

Project Access NOW’s annual fundraiser, an evening that brings together community members, leaders, elected officials, and professionals from across the health care, social services, and nonprofit sectors.

This year’s event is not only a celebration of our shared work; it is a call to action. In the coming decade, hundreds of thousands of Oregonians face the risk of losing access to health care due to significant changes in Medicaid and Marketplace plans. Now is the time to come together and advance solutions that protect the health and stability of our communities.

For many years, this gathering has recognized individuals and organizations that have made a meaningful impact on health equity. Past events have featured leaders in health policy, advocates for underserved communities, and partners committed to systemic change. In 2026, our focus is on the path forward. We will highlight strategies to safeguard health care access across Oregon and strengthen the social safety net for those who face the greatest barriers.

Where can I park?

Street parking is available near the venue; however, if possible, we strongly recommend using ride share services. This helps ease congestion, supports a smoother arrival and departure experience, and reduces the environmental impact of the event. If you have any mobility needs or require accessible drop‑off support, please let us know when you register.

How do I request accommodations?

We want every guest to have a comfortable, meaningful, and fully accessible experience. Please don't hesitate to indicate these needs during registration or contact us directly at rebecca.raab@projectaccessnow.org. Our goal is to ensure all guests feel welcomed, supported, and able to engage in the event.

What is the money used for?

All funds raised directly support Project Access NOW’s healthcare access programs, which work to remove barriers for individuals who struggle to access medical care. This includes:

  • Connecting uninsured or underinsured community members to care and insurance
  • Supporting individuals navigating complex medical systems
  • Providing access to transportation, medication assistance, and follow‑up care resources
  • Partnering with community organizations and providers to improve access and health outcomes
  • Advocacy to reduce health inequity across the region

Your participation and generosity directly impact thousands of individuals and families across Oregon.
