Project Access NOW's annual fundraiser is a highly anticipated event that brings together approximately 200-300 guests, including executives, elected officials, community leaders, and members of the health care, social service, and nonprofit sectors. This year's event holds particular significance as it addresses the looming crisis of hundreds of thousands of individuals expected to lose health care access in the next decade. The program will include dinner, a paddle raise to generate funds, an educational component highlighting the organization's work, and the opportunity to network and strengthen our work as a sector.
In previous years, the event has served as a platform to recognize and honor individuals and organizations who have made a significant impact on health care access. Past events have celebrated the organization's tangible achievements and provided a platform for prominent thought leaders to share thoughts and solutions. The event has a history of featuring a variety of guests, including those who are leaders in the health policy world, advocates for underrepresented communities, and community partners who work closely with the organization. The focus of this year’s event will be the federal changes to Medicaid and Marketplace plans and solutions to address the devastating effect this will have on healthcare access in Oregon.
